SWACH Stands Against Racism

Our leadership and staff unequivocally support communities of color and especially black communities during this challenging time. We will strive to do better, learn through our efforts, and support our current and future partners in equitable practices.

Racism is and will remain a public health crisis until words become constructive actions. Racial and health inequities require hearing and acknowledging experiences of all black, brown and other members of our underserved communities.

At SWACH, we recognize that addressing racism and bias begins with supporting our staff and addressing internal equity.

We continue to work with those whose lived experiences can help reshape systems and policies. As allies and advocates, we must lead by example to cultivate equitable healthy communities. We will continue to hold ourselves accountable to those we serve, to our partners, and to each other.
