Free Behavioral Health CE Trainings Hosted by North Sound ACH

For behavioral health (BH) providers working with children and adolescents, organizations employing BH providers, and partners who work with these professionals anywhere in Washington state: North Sound Accountable Community of Health (ACH) is hosting four (4) free trainings in June 2022.

The Washington Legislature passed House Bill 1504 in 2021, paving the way for the Washington State Health Care Authority to contract with North Sound ACH to support continuing education courses for licensed behavioral health providers working with children and adolescents in Washington state. This could include scholarships or grants to specific trainings in the future. In June 2022, continuing education credits will be granted upon completion of one or more of the four live webcast trainings detailed below:

  • Trauma & Attachment in Children and Families  |  June 3, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. More information
  • Treating Anxiety Disorders in Children & Adolescents  |  June 9-10, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day More information
  • Trauma-informed CBT for Children & Adolescents  |  June 17, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. More information
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)  |  June 22-23, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day More information

All trainings are board accredited for the following licensed providers in Washington state: Counselors, Social Workers, Psychologists, Marriage & Family Therapists, Addiction Counselors, Physicians, and Psychiatrists.

Southwest Washington Accountable Community of Health encourages professionals from our region with relevant job responsibilities or training needs to participate as well. While the trainings are being offered by North Sound ACH, individuals from Southwest Washington are welcome to participate as well.
