SWACH Invites Community Members to Join the Community Voice & Equity Committee
Southwest Washington Accountable Community of Health (SWACH) is excited to invite community members and organizations to apply for the Community Voice & Equity Committee (CV&E), a Board of Trustees subcommittee focused on advancing health equity and strengthening regional advocacy efforts across Southwest Washington.
The Community Voice & Equity Committee brings together people with lived experience, community leaders, and partner organizations to help identify shared policy priorities and guide SWACH’s advocacy and funding decisions. The committee plays a key role in ensuring community perspectives inform systems change efforts across Clark, Skamania, and Klickitat counties.
CV&E members support SWACH through several core responsibilities, including assessing community needs and data, offering leadership and guidance on policy and advocacy opportunities, participating in informed decision-making related to SWACH funding, and providing recommendations to the SWACH Board of Trustees.
By participating in CV&E, members help elevate community voices, strengthen collaboration, and shape policies that impact health equity across the region. The committee is especially interested in engaging individuals who are passionate about advocacy, equity, and improving systems that affect community health and well-being.
Community members interested in learning more or applying are encouraged to contact Heather Sheppard, SWACH’s Equity and Collaborative Impact Manager, at heather.sheppard@southwestach.org.
Applications due by Feb. 15.
